Reasons why I think it is a bad poster design:
---Choice of color used for words and background
- does not grab people’s attention
- no contrast in color
---Picture in the poster not clear
- it’s just a reflection
---Cannot be comprehended easily
- can only be used in the train stations
---Bad use of space
- the top part of the poster is heavier than the bottom part of the poster

I decided to make a simple card by just using minimal words and pictures. The card is set on a pink background. Pink color is used to represent love that is all around us.

After much thinking, I decided to choose whales because many are not doing their part to save whales. There is not much attention paid to whales. However I feel that people too should play their part by not killing whales just to use their body parts. Hence the reason why I chose whales.

First I light up the gas. Then I put the pot on top of the gas. Slowly, the pot gets heated up and smoke is seen to be rising out of the pot. I then put my hand inside the pot. I screamed to let people think that it's really hot but is it really? Both my parents are shocked that I can put my hands into the pot. I laughed at them because of the gullibility to think that the pot is indeed hot and that I can put my hands in it. So I let the cat out of the bag by telling them that it's just dry ice. Lastly, they are relieved though it's a prank set on them.

I chose Mickey Mouse. For the first picture, I drew the entire body of Mickey Mouse. For the second one, I drew the outline of the body but with the face and shoes still drawn. For the third picture, I drew the outline of the body but only with the head drawn. For the fourth picture, it's just the face of Mickey Mouse. For the last picture, it's the outline of the face of Mickey Mouse. The abstraction process loses its identity at picture 4.

assignment 1

I chose flowers and music because I love both of them. I decided to use flowers around my name because if I were to use flowers to draw my name it would look cluttered. For the music part, I drew an mp3 player with the wire of the head piece to spell out my name.The mp3 player is on the music lines to show that I like to listen to music.
